Father's Day Weekend!

Wow! What a weekend!! Daddy had a great weekend visiting some great friends!! The Tinsley's came up from the Vern and stayed with the Burris's.  Daddy got to have some fun times with his friends.  He is such a great dad and really needed some time to spend with his good buddies.  We met up with everyone at Ben and Arie's for some putt putt! Mommy did awful, but dada came in second place!!  We then headed over to Clay and Ashley's for a cook out and boy were those burgers yummy!!  Dada got to pick what he wanted to do today for his first fathers day with Evie.  So we ended up taking a LONG family nap and Dada decided instead of cooking or going out, that he would pick up our favorite take out place (McAlister's Deli) and stay in... Dada ended the day by rocking our baby girl to sleep while Momma made Dada some banana pudding for dessert!  What a great weekend! We are so blessed to have such an amazing little girl!!  Momma is also very blessed to have such an amazing husband. He will never know how much we appreciate and love him...  Happy Dada Day!!! We love you!!

So... Evie has been babbling a lot lately and today when Nick got home we sat down for dinner and she started saying DADA!!!  What a big girl! Luckily I got it on video on my iPhone!

Summer fun with good friends!

We are loving summer vacation!! So much to do and good friends to do them with!!  We have had a lot of fun spending time with Robyn and Nicholas!  Evie got her first pool experience at Robyn's neighborhood pool house! She just loves being in the water!

Robyn had to watch Evie for awhile because even though mommy packed three bags to go swimming, she forgot her bathing suit!!! So they had some fun while I went back home to get her suit:) Looks like they had a blast!!!  Thanks for the fun times Robyn and Nicholas!

Evie's first trip to the Indy Zoo!!

Today we took Evie for her first visit to the Indianapolis Zoo. We got a late start today, but I think it worked out for the better. She was such a little trooper!!  She only had two naps today, but she was in bed by 8 p.m. with no fuss!!!  I really think she is going to be a Marine Biologist when she grows up. She LOVES being in the water and the whole time we were in Oceans she was squealing, yes squealing, with laughter!! She just loved the fish and she would get so frustrated when they would swim away from her.  Here are some pictures of our day.  Enjoy!!
