Harry Potter Weekend with Suzann & Makayla!

Suzann and Makayla came to visit during the opening weekend of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow's Part 2!! We had a busy weekend visiting and celebrating the final Harry Potter Film with our BFF's!!! The pictures will tell all:) Enjoy!

Holiday World 2011!!

I went to Holiday World and Splashing Safari with my sisters, Madison, and brother in law during my time in Evansville of the 4th of July week! I had planned to take Evie, but soon realized earlier in the week that it was WAY TO HOT for her to be out in the sun all day. Luckly Grandma Crider took the day off and babysat while I got to enjoy the day with the family! We spent the majority of the day in Splashing Sarfari and had a great picnic lunch. We finished the day by treating Madison to some Utterly Blue ice cream! YUMMY! If you have a day this summer and want a fun family trip, I highly recommend going to Holiday World! I can't wait to take Evie when she is older!

Our Little Sparkler!! Evie's first 4th of July!

We had a wonderful day! The Crider's invited the family over for a cookout to celebrate the 4th of July and to show of their granddaughter! EVERYONE was able to make it and we had a great time visiting with everyone! Evie played patty cake A LOT with everyone! We also got a kick out of watching daddy organize her toy basket! Gotta love him! Nick and I got a chance to have some us time and we went out to see Transformers 3 while Papaw and Grandma watched Evie for us! She again was such a happy little girl and LOVED all the attention she was getting! We are now settling down crossing our fingers that Evie will sleep through all the fireworks that are going on outside... We shall see!! Happy 4th of July everyone!

Schmitz Rib Fest 2011!

Every year my sister and her husband hold a "Schmitz Rib Fest"! The Schmitz smokes some amazing ribs and everyone else brings sides and fireworks! This was Evie's first year and boy was she a sport! It was CRAZY hot when we first got there and everyone wanted to hold her! She was such a good girl!! Eventually we stripped her down and let her get a dip into the pool before she had a meltdown! There was a storm coming so we decided to head inside and as I was taking her things inside I turn around and saw the tent covering about to launch and lawn chairs where flying!! Luckily Evie's Aunt Nana (Andrea) came to her rescue before some lawn chairs landed on her! We got everything in and the tents down before the storm really hit! Long story short... The food was amazing and I had a blast seeing family I hadn't seen in months!! Evie skipped her afternoon and literally feel asleep in seconds in Gramme's arms right before we decided to leave.
